One project kept becoming the next.
Keeks began in 2008 after its founders left their agency careers to build a firm of their own. The founding idea was storytelling: helping companies explain what they were building, why it mattered, and where they were going.
From the beginning, that story never lived in one place. It moved through strategy, brand, websites, products, content, marketing, and the operations behind them. So that is where Keeks worked: across the whole picture and inside the next piece that needed to move. As the relationships grew, the work expanded into a weekly rhythm and then into the decisions and systems underneath the business.
Today, most relationships continue beyond the first project. Companies bring Keeks in when they would rather work with one accountable team than manage work split across separate firms and internal teams. Keeks keeps the strategy, brand, products, and systems moving together in support of the direction leadership sets.
When the work requires additional expertise, Keeks brings in specialists it knows and trusts. They extend the team, but accountability stays with Keeks.
Across that work, Keeks has contributed to more than $20 million in capital raised through investor collateral, fundraising research, grant writing, and MVP product design. Its founders have also led the design of products now in market and are named inventors on patent filings.
Nearly two decades in, the model is simple: start with one project, earn the next one, and continue for as long as the partnership remains useful. Two founders, a weekly rhythm, and partnerships measured in years.
Lauren and Richmond share responsibility for every engagement, but they enter the work through different lenses. Both stay close from the first decision through what ships.
